Beef Roast

A fine classic roast of beef.

1 top serloin roast - get a good one, please
6 potatoes
1 onion
7 cloves garlic
4 carrots
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp white pepper
2 bay leaves

Make small slices deep into the roast and fill them with sliced garlic.  Then brown the roast in some butter & 2 cloves of garlic. Put all the rest in a crock pot for the day!
