BBQ Ribs

After a variety of attempts, this crock-pot version is my favorite.

Ribs.  I prefer baby back pork ribs
Garlic, mushed, crushed, minced or whatever
1 Onion
BBQ sauce (16 oz)

Cut the onion into three thick slices.  Place these on the bottom of the crock-pot and turn it on low.  The onions buffer the heat and add flavor.  Cut the ribs into a few managable pieces and rinse them.  Rub the ribs with a little salt, some pepper and garlic.  Broil the ribs in the oven for 10-15 minutes on each side until browned.

Place ribs into crock-pot on top of the onion.  Cover with the BBQ sauce.   Cover and cook for 8-10 hours on low (preferred) or 4-5 hours on high.
